The company was originally set-up in October 1996 as Personal Financial Planning (Manawatu) Limited and subsequently changed to Personal Investment Centre Limited.
Personal Investment Centre's Managing Director, Peter Rea, was originally involved in the retail banking industry for over 20 years. He first became passionate about financial planning when he assisted as Manager/Financial Planner in the opening of a new operatioin in Palmerston North for Westpac Banking Corporation in 1990.
